THE MALICE EFFECT
THE MALICE EFFECT is a work of fiction by Susan which explores the far-reaching effects of murder.  It is the second in a series of three murder mysteries:  Death and Obsession, The Malice Effect, and Murder Most Complicated.  Each psychological fiction may be read as a stand-alone book.

In The Malice Effect, OPP Detectives Hopkins and Powell investigate the death of a young woman found near a popular camping resort.  She is the apparent victim of foul play.  Detective Sergeant Hopkins holds a doctorate in criminal psychology and is an FBI-trained profiler, while Detective Inspector Powell is a seasoned and respected senior officer.  The investigative team explores the life of the victim and the possible motives of suspects.

The case is complex and suspecting something is not the same as proving it.  Will the critical evidence be found?  And despite mistakes made, will the accused finally be brought to justice?
You'll have to read the book to find out!  And, fair warning, the ending may just surprise you!

The Malice Effect may be purchased through Amazon, Indigo and Barnes & Noble.
